Sparkle App a digital bank by the former Diamond bank CEO goes live after 11 months of its first public mention.
After the merging of Access bank and Diamond bank, Mr. Uzoma Dozie the work in progress in the building a transparent platform exploring an easy and better way to save, make payments, manage money.

Sparkle like many other existing microfinance banks in Nigeria has gained its license from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) since August 2019 promising to offer transparency, comprehensive support for individuals, including flexible payments, savings, and analytics to provide greater freedom, flexibility, and control over finances and lifestyle once and for all.
On the launching of the App, it is made available on iOS and Android to give customers full and free access to one account that offers multiple services and different wallets. As of press time, Sparkle features such as “Buy Airtime”, “Pay Bills”, “QR Payment”, “Business Account”, and virtual and physical debit cards are still “coming soon” (more on these features later).

Sparkle partnering with Visa, Microsoft, and PwC Nigeria to achieve its vision of redefining Nigerian commerce as well as providing support business solutions such as taxation, inventory management, invoicing, and payment schedule. With its Sparkle Stash Tool, it provides a savings tool aimed towards specific goals. Sparkle promises 24/7 Customers Services through its smart AI customer service chatbot.

Although Sparkle says “we don’t offer any interests on our savings, but we plan to in the nearest future with an amazing interest rate.” but offer more features than most of the existing fintech applications by allowing customers that allows users to receive payment from anyone.
